Background

Overview

The Herald-Crux Pattern was the 2nd generation Cockpit developed by the Prainian military.

Like the previous pattern, the Herald Pattern that it replaces, it maintains maximum visibility with the same impressive 310 degree video enhanced visor slit, but now features additional processing power and a second, redundant internal tracking radar as a backup should the first radar unit be damaged in battle.

Usage

Used almost exclusively by the Prainian District, it is only found in limited numbers elsewhere, often as the result of battlefield salvage. Such second hand units are never as good as the originals in terms of functionality or protection, but make useful status symbols with the clout to lay claim to one outside of District Prain.
