A Newer, Faster Site!

Date Published: Saturday 23rd May 2015 Main Category: Site News

We've recently been doing a lot of improvements to this site, including rebuilding the site from scratch to be faster for you guys. The old site was built on WordPress and over time, has become a little unwieldy and became far too slow to boot. We've since rebuilt the site using a custom designed simple CMS system that we're using today.

This new system is not only much faster (about 3 times faster in fact!), but it will enable us to build on what we have already and expand into new areas in the future!

You'll also notice a number of new features appearing on our site, including extended information about the 'Big Eight' Districts - we now track their populations and show a miniature timeline on each of District pages which track that District's history.

We also took the time to add a map of the District's location on the relevant District pages to boot, so you can see where they are in the world of Techniconica!

We have plenty more advancements and upgrades planned for the coming months, so bear with us!

Tips Tactica Power Plants

Posted on Wed, 6th Apr 2016

Power Plants are important for any Mech, as they provide power for the various parts and without them, your Mech is completely useless!Plants themselves are typically heavy items (usually with a Weight of 2 or more) and they vary from Armour 3 to 6 (for the Trinity Power Plant) so have fairly average Armour across the board.
